Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that a transfer on 16 April 2012 of 8,298 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's executive share incentive plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 9,607,195 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 209,719,600 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
