Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that on 23 May 2011 a transfer of 87,094 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's Executive Performance Share and Sharesave plans.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 11,419,738 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 207,907,057 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
