Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that on 8 March 2012 a transfer of 334 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's share save incentive plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 9,884,082 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 209,442,713 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
