Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that on 08 September 2011 a transfer of 33,198 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's share incentive plans.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 10,940,675 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 208,386,120 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
