Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it was notified, on 3 August 2012, a transfer of 213,302 shares was made from Treasury to satisfy share options under the Company's executive share incentive plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 9,063,652 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 210,263,143 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
