Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that on 22 February 2012 a transfer of 12,060 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's executive share incentive plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 10,422,143 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 208,904,652 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
