DCC plc announces that on 14 August 2009, 985 shares were transferred out of the Company's holding of treasury shares pursuant to the exercise of options under the DCC Sharesave Scheme 2001. The subscription price paid for these shares was €12.63 per share.

DCC now has a total of 82,226,490 shares in issue excluding treasury shares and 6,002,914 shares held in treasury.
