Applied Optical Technologies PLC09 September 2005 APPLIED OPTICAL TECHNOLOGIES PLCTRANSFER TO AIM9 SEPTEMBER 2005 Further to the announcement on 1 September 2005, the Company wishes to announce that the transfer to AIM is now anticipated to take place later this year. Pursuant to the new Listing Rules this transfer will be subject to shareholder approval. A circular will be issued in due course, calling an EGM at which a resolution to cancel the Company's listing on the Official List and to seek admission to trading on AIM will be put before shareholders.
