Transfer of Treasury Shares

Reckitt Benckiser Group plc ("the Company") announces that, on 28 August 2009, the following ordinary shares (33,606) have been transferred from treasury shares for the purpose of satisfying exercises under the Reckitt Benckiser Group Share Schemes/Plans:

ExecutiveShare Scheme:

750 Ordinary shares at 5.538 per share

1,250 Ordinary shares at 8.819 per share

3,000 Ordinary shares at 11.186 per share

16,606 Ordinary shares at 12.76 per share

8,000 Ordinary shares at 15.47 per share

4,000 Ordinary shares at 18.10 per share

Following the above transfer of treasury shares, the Company holds 8,162,360 Ordinary shares in treasury.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 714,206,152.
