Transfer of Treasury Shares

Reckitt Benckiser Group plc ("the Company") announces that, on 26 August 2008, the following ordinary shares (5,000) have been transferred from treasury shares for the purpose of satisfying exercises under the Reckitt Benckiser Group Share Schemes/Plans:

Executive Share Option Scheme:

4,000 Ordinary shares at ‚£12.76 each

1,000 Ordinary shares at ‚£15.47 each

Following the above transfer of treasury shares, the Company holds 12,519,956 Ordinary shares in treasury.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 709,848,556.
