Transfer of Treasury Shares

The Weir Group PLC ("the Company") announces that on 2 July 2010, 1,511 ordinary shares of 12.5p each held as treasury shares were transferred to participants to satisfy awards granted in 2007 under the Group Long Term Incentive Plan.

Following the above transfer, the Company now holds 2,079,579 ordinary shares in treasury and has 210,745,902 ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares).
