Transfer of Treasury shares

The Company announces pursuant to Listing Rule 12.6.4 that on 9th October 2012 it transferred from treasury to participants in the Ted Baker plc 2009 Value Creation Plan (the "VCP"), 875,992 ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("ordinary shares") in order to satisfy the Company's obligation to deliver shares to participants under the VCP.

Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, the Company now holds 614,181 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 42,583,852 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
