Weir Group PLC01 April 2008 The Weir Group PLC Transfer of Treasury Shares The Weir Group PLC ("the Company") announces that on 1 April 2008, 376,981ordinary shares of 12.5p each held as treasury shares were transferred toparticipants to satisfy awards granted in 2005 under the Group Long-TermIncentive Plan.
