Transfer of Treasury Shares

Reckitt Benckiser Group plc ("the Company") announces that, on 8 December 2008, the following ordinary shares (232,589) have been transferred from treasury shares for the purpose of satisfying exercises under the Reckitt Benckiser Group Share Schemes/Plans:

Executive Share Option Scheme:

750 Ordinary shares at ‚£5.538 per share

1,400 Ordinary shares at ‚£8.819 per share

2,500 Ordinary shares at ‚£9.504 per share

6,000 Ordinary shares at ‚£11.186 per share

8,000 Ordinary shares at ‚£12.76 per share

213,939 Ordinary shares of ‚£15.47 per share

Following the above transfer of treasury shares, the Company holds 13,599,386 Ordinary shares in treasury.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 708,769,126.
