Transfer of Treasury Shares

Reckitt Benckiser Group plc ("the Company") announces that, on 2 September 2008, the following ordinary shares (289,729) have been transferred from treasury shares for the purpose of satisfying exercises under the Reckitt Benckiser Group Share Schemes/Plans:

Executive Share Option Scheme:

55,000 Ordinary shares of ‚£7.04 per share

100,000 Ordinary shares of ‚£9.504 per share;

7,290 Ordinary shares at ‚£11.186 per share;

35,000 Ordinary shares of ‚£12.76 per share;

92,439 Ordinary shares at ‚£15.47 per share.

Following the above transfer of treasury shares, the Company holds 12,158,823 Ordinary shares in treasury.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 710,209,689.
