Transfer of shares out of Treasury

McBride plc ("the Company") announces that on 6 May 2011 it transferred 8,766 ordinary shares of 10p each for the purpose of exercising an award under a performance based LTIP scheme.

On the same day the Company transferred a further 18,804 ordinary shares of 10p each for the purpose of meeting SAYE options that were exercised early.

The Company now holds 617,626 shares in Treasury and has a total of 180,422,675 ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares) in issue.
