20 March 2006 FirstGroup plc Transfer of shares held in treasury FirstGroup plc ("the Company") announces that on 20 March 2006 it transferredto participants in the Company's employee SAYE scheme, 37,592 ordinary sharesat a price of 192p per share. The shares were all formerly held as treasuryshares.Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, the Company holds atotal of 6,655,568 of its ordinary shares in treasury.
