27 February 2006 FirstGroup plc Transfer of shares held in treasury FirstGroup plc ("the Company") announces that on 27 February 2006 ittransferred to participants in the Company's employee SAYE scheme, 94,037ordinary shares at a price of 192p per share. The shares were all formerly heldas treasury shares.Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, the Company holds atotal of 6,978,332 of its ordinary shares in treasury.
