On July 31, 2014, the BOD of Samsung Electronics authorized a beneficiary certificate transaction limit with Samsung Asset Management.

 - Transaction limit amount: KRW5 trillion

※ This amount is the ceiling for the total transactions that can be made during the

period below.

 - Transaction period: August 1, 2014~July 31, 2015

※ This disclosure is in accordance with the Korean Fair Trade Act, which mandates a purchaser of

insurance policy to disclose the transaction in case the transaction is worth more than KRW 5billion

and the asset management company involved is the purchaser's financial affiliate.
