The number ofshares bought from GUS off-market was 161,148, not 161,189 meaning the totalpurchased on 6 June 2005 was 245,995 shares. Of theseShares, 84,847 were purchased on-market from Morgan Stanley at a price of406.8223 pence per Share and 161,148 were purchased off-market directly from GUSHoldings Limited also at a price of 406.8223 pence per share in accordance withthe Agreement dated 20 December 2004 between the Company and GUS plc approved bythe Company's shareholders on 20 December 2004.
