Tate & Lyle PLC Transaction in Own Shares Tate & Lyle PLC ("the Company") announces that on 11 September 2008 ittransferred 14,227 ordinary shares in the Company for the purpose of satisfyingexercises under the 2000 Executive Share Option Scheme. These shares werepreviously held in Treasury. The transfer price per share was 335.75p.
