EMPLOYEE BENEFIT TRUST
National Express Group PLC (the "Company") announces that First Names (Jersey) Limited, as trustee of the National Express Group PLC Employee Benefit Trust(the "EBT") has purchased 1,179,661 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") at an average price of 214.2849 pence per Share on 22 March 2013.
Immediately following the above transaction, the EBT held 1,523,394 shares, representing approximately 0.30% of the Company's issued share capital. It is anticipated that all Shares held by the EBT will ultimately be used to satisfy awards and options granted under the Company's various share incentive arrangements.
