Pennon Group PLC28 September 2007 Pennon Group Plc buyback programme in close period Pennon Group Plc announces that it has entered into an irrevocable andnon-discretionary arrangement with its broker, Credit Suisse, to re-purchase onits behalf and within certain pre-set parameters Ordinary Shares during its halfyear close period. Pennon Group's close period commences on 1 October 2007 andcontinues up to and including 28 November 2007. Any Shares bought back are tobe held in Treasury.
