Old Mutual PLC20 February 2008 Old Mutual plc Ref 44/0820 February 2008 Transaction in Own Shares Old Mutual plc ("the Company") announces that on 19 February 2008 it purchasedthrough Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch a total of 850,000 of the Company'sordinary shares of 10p each. All of these shares were acquired on the London Stock Exchange at an averageprice of 127.32 pence per share. The purchased shares will be held in treasury. The Company's current issuedshare capital is now 5,333,570,426 ordinary shares of 10p each (excluding the176,759,724 shares that have so far been repurchased into treasury).
