Transaction in Own Shares

RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 27th May 2015 it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 118,989 Ordinary Shares at prices of €16.58 and €21.5235 per Ordinary Share and at prices between £12.22 and £14.94 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 2,201,219 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 821,421,265.
