Purchase of Shares

In accordance with Carnival Corporation & plc's (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK) previously announced Stock Swap programme, Carnival Corporation & plc announces that on 27 March 2009 Carnival Corporation purchased 114,941 of ordinary shares in Carnival plc at an average price of £15.968157 per share. The highest price paid was £16.09 per share and the lowest price paid was £15.77 per share.

This purchase therefore ensures that Carnival Corporation has purchased the 300,000 shares originally intended on 11 February 2009, but for which only 185,059 shares were purchased, as announced on 5 March 2009.
