Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 13 October 2014, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,100,000 (one million one hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 293.5199 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 294.40 pence and 292.70 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 71,120,743 ordinary shares in treasury and has 4,988,807,538 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
