Purchase of own securities

On 20 September 2007, Reckitt Benckiser plc acquired from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited 55,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of 2829.58 pence per ordinary share. These shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the Company has:

1. 8,995,691 shares held as treasury shares ; and

2. 713,369,526 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
