SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAMME
CRH plc announces that on 22nd August 2008, Davy purchased, on behalf of the Company, 135,000 Ordinary Shares of €0.32 each in CRH plc at prices between €16.65 and €17.08 per Ordinary Share. The purchased shares will be held as Treasury Shares.
Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 14,930,295 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 533,190,141.
