Transaction in Own Shares

RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 16th September 2015, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 32,432 Ordinary Shares at prices between €13.64 and €21.5235 per Ordinary Share and at a price of £14.94 per Ordinary share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 1,327,793 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 822,294,691.
