Big Yellow Group PLC announces that on 5 August 2011 it purchased 500,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 257.30 pence per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Big Yellow Group PLC holds 1,000,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 130,276,956 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
