Date of purchase: 1st December 2016

Number of ordinary shares purchased: 70,000

The highest price paid was 818.79 pence per share and lowest price paid was 812.00 pence per share.

The purchase represented an average price of 816.43 pence per share.

The purchased shares will be cancelled. Following this purchase, the total number of voting rights in JD Wetherspoon plc is 111,636,835
