Share repurchase announcement
RIT Capital Partners plc (the 'Company') announces the following information relating to a share repurchase, pursuant to Listing Rule 12.4.6R
1. Date of purchase: 2 December 2009
2. No. of equity shares purchased: 600,000
3. Purchase Price: 950p per ordinary share
4a. No. of equity shares purchased
for cancellation 600,000
4b. No. of equity shares purchased
to be held as treasury shares: NIL
The above purchase was made in accordance with the shareholders' authority granted at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 23 July 2009.
The Company does not hold any of its own shares in treasury.
The issued share capital of the Company following the cancellation of the shares purchased will comprise 153,866,062 ordinary shares of £1 each.
