Old Mutual PLC21 April 2008 Old Mutual plc Ref 95/08 21 April 2008 Transaction in Own Shares Old Mutual plc ("the Company") announces that on 18 April 2008 it purchasedthrough Merrill Lynch South Africa (Pty) Limited a total of 550,000 of theCompany's ordinary shares of 10p each. All of these shares were acquired on the JSE Limited at an average price of ZAR19.1526 per share. The purchased shares will be held in treasury.
