Transaction in Own Shares

Synergy Health plc (the "Company") announces that today it purchased 270,500 ordinary shares of 0.625 pence each. The shares were acquired for 1120.5 pence per share.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares and will be used to satisfy the exercise of current and future share options under the Company's share option schemes. Following the above purchase, the Company holds a total of 270,500 ordinary shares as treasury shares and has a total of 58,273,416 ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held in treasury).
