Bunzl PLC11 October 2006 11 October 2006 BUNZL PLC TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES Bunzl plc ("Bunzl") announces that it has today purchased through JP MorganCazenove Limited 200,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 679.625p pershare. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Bunzl holds 1,790,000 ordinary shares as treasuryshares.
