Hammerson PLC21 September 2007 Hammerson Plc Transaction in own shares The Company purchased through Citigroup Global Markets Limited on 20 September2007 200,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 1166 pence per share. Thehighest price paid was 1,170.5 pence per share and the lowest price paid was1,159.0 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. Hammerson Plc ("Hammerson") currently holds 950,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and followingthe purchase of these shares Hammerson's share capital consists of 289,625,217ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding treasury shares).
