Old Mutual PLC03 April 2008 Old Mutual plc Ref 80/083 April 2008 Transaction in Own Shares Old Mutual plc ("the Company") announces that on 2 April 2008 it purchasedthrough Deutsche Securities (Pty) Limited a total of 1,092,312 of the Company'sordinary shares of 10p each. All of these shares were acquired on the JSE Limited at an average price of ZAR18.8560 per share. The purchased shares will be held in treasury.
