Transaction in Own Shares

30 August 2013 - Experian plc, the global information services company (the "Company"), hereby notifies the market, in conformity with Listing Rule 12.4.6R, of the following:

Further to the announcement by the Company on 9 May 2013 of a share purchase programme, the Company announces that, on 30 August 2013, it purchased 235,000 of its ordinary shares of 10 US cents each ("ordinary shares") at an average price of 1136.971p per share (minimum price of 1128p and maximum price of 1156p). The shares purchased will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase, the Company holds 26,704,181 ordinary shares in treasury. Since announcing the buy-back programme on 9 May 2013, the Company has purchased 6,704,181 of its ordinary shares. The total number of shares in issue (excluding shares held in treasury) following this announcement is 1,003,976,193.
