Transaction in Own Shares

Schroders plc today acquired through J.P. Morgan Cazenove Limited 744,238 of its non-voting ordinary shares at an average price of 1137.6157 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, Schroders plc holds 1,794,238 non-voting ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of non-voting shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 61,857,280.
