Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 14 March 2014, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 330.9457 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 335.10 pence and 328.60 pence respectively. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.
Cancellation of Treasury Shares
On 14 March 2014, Centrica plc cancelled 78,510,935 ordinary shares which were held as treasury shares.
As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 51,996,322 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,069,422,435 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
