ALPHA REAL TRUST LIMITED ("ALPHA REAL TRUST" OR THE "COMPANY")

TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Alpha Real Trust announces that on 29 July 2013 it purchased 150,000 ordinary shares of no par value ("Ordinary Shares") at a price (before expenses) of 48 pence per share. Of the purchased Ordinary Shares 50,332 shares will be cancelled and 99,668 shares will be held in treasury.

The ordinary share capital of the Company following the purchase and cancellation of those Ordinary Shares which are to be repurchased will be 59,575,128 (including 5,957,512 shares held in treasury).

The total voting rights in Alpha Real Trust following the purchase and cancellation of the Ordinary Shares will be 71,138,855.

The total voting rights figure (71,138,855) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in Alpha Real Trust under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
