3i Group PLC08 September 2006 3i Group plc 8 September 2006 3i Group plc Cancellation of B Shares On 4 September 2006, 3i Group plc (the "Company") announced that DresdnerKleinwort Wasserstein Securities Limited, acting as agent for the Company, hadagreed to purchase 11,111,911 B Shares under the Company Offer (as defined inthe Company's circular to Shareholders dated 15 June 2006 (the "Circular")). The Company confirms that these B Shares have today been cancelled and thatfollowing cancellation the Company has 8,629,980 B Shares remaining in issue.
