CRH PLC31 January 2008 31st January 2008 SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAMME CRH plc announces that on 30th January 2008, UBS Limited purchased, on behalf ofthe Company, 244,767 Ordinary Shares of €0.32 each in CRH plc at prices between€25.78 and €26.38 per Ordinary Share. The purchased shares will be held asTreasury Shares. CRH plc also announces that on 30th January 2008 it transferred to participantsin its employee share schemes 52,282 Ordinary Shares at prices between €12.6416and €19.68 per Ordinary Share. Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 1,873,848 Ordinary Shares inTreasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is545,353,346.
