RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that today, 23rd December 2014, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 8,044 Ordinary Shares at prices between €11.18 and €18.7463 per Ordinary Share and at prices between £11.36 and £12.9574 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 3,788,659 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 740,737,277.
