Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 11 October 2010 it transferred 3,333 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 450 pence
Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 4,798,268 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 144,869,055 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
