Transaction in Own Shares

Schroders plc yesterday acquired through J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd 152,500 of its non-voting ordinary shares at an average price of 1374 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, Schroders plc holds 6,511,632 non-voting ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of non-voting shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 58,166,027.
