Transactions in own shares Centrica plc 16 June 2025 Centrica plc announces that it purchased on 13 June 2025 (through Merrill Lynch International) 2,892,604 Centrica plc ordinary shares of 6 14/81 pence each at a price of 166.71 pence per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Such purchase was effected pursuant to the extension of the Company's 2024-25 buyback programme announced on 27 December 2024 and in accordance with the non-discretionary share repurchase agreement entered into with Merrill Lynch International as also announced on 27 December 2024, which agreement was subsequently amended as announced on 3 March 2025. Since 3 March 2025, Centrica has purchased 175,468,332 ordinary shares at a cost (excluding dealing and associated costs) of £269,999,998.50. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 436,439,074 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 4,899,668,140 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). This purchase concludes the share repurchases conducted by Merrill Lynch International under the amended terms of the 2024-25 Extension to the Company's share repurchase programme further to the Company's announcement on 3 March 2025. In accordance with the Company's announcement as part of its 2024 preliminary results on 20 February 2025 and its further announcement on 8 May 2025, Goldman Sachs International will, under the next phase of the programme, referred to as the 2025 Extension, commence from 16 June 2025 (and ending no later than 19 September 2025) repurchases of ordinary shares of 6 14/81 pence each in the Company up to an aggregate maximum consideration of £250 million (exclusive of associated fees, expenses and stamp duty).
