Transfer of shares into Treasury

The Company announces that on 16 November 2011 it purchased, through Investec, 22,500 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company at a price of 128.9617 pence per share. The highest price paid was 129.885 pence per share and lowest price paid was 128.5 pence per share. The Company will hold the shares in Treasury to meet options under the McBride plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme to be exercised in 2012.

Following the above transaction the Company now holds 1,614,745 shares in Treasury and has a total of 179,425,556 ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares) in issue.
