Transaction in Own Shares

SciSys PLC, AIM stock code: SSY, ('SciSys' or the 'Company') - the supplier of bespoke software systems, IT based solutions and support services to the Media Broadcast, Space, Government & Defence, Environment and Applications Support sectors announces that on 26 October 2011, it purchased 71,685 ordinary shares from the Scisys No. 2 Trust at a price of 46.5p per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. This follows the winding up of the SciSys Executive Share Ownership Plan which was originally established in 2005 through an offshore Trust.

Following the transaction, SciSys PLC has a total of 28,934,798 ordinary shares in issue excluding treasury shares and 123,477 ordinary shares held by the Company in treasury.

The above figure of 28,934,798 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
